Rest In Peace dearest Agnes (Agnes Welch, in white). You were a port in the Fibromyalgia storm for 36 years. So many of us are very grateful to you. This picture was taken on Fibromyalgia Awareness Day in the New York State Assembly, 2016 with Assemblywoman Aileen Gunther. (With her hands on Agnes’ shoulders). Agnes was honored by the Senate and Assembly this year for her service to Fibromyalgia patients through the Fibromyalgia Support Group she founded and led at St. Peter’s Hospital for 36 years. Together we put on three free conferences in Schenectady, New York. She was a dynamic leader who will be missed, as she was contacted for help from around the country. Thank you, Agnes, for your legacy of service.
