“Affirmations For Peace”
Feb. 3, 2008 —
May we be at peace within ourselves.
May we be at peace with one another.
May our blessings and joys be shared.
May we be strong in adversity.
May we be slow to judge.
May we hold one another in our prayers.
May our gifts be love and caring.
May our hearts be open to new people and different ways.
May we base our decisions on character.
May we be less concerned about image.
May our thoughts focus on the positive.
May our hearts fill with gratitude for each day.
May our lives bring joy and serenity to others.
May our homes be lively and our battlefields empty.
May we choose leaders based upon integrity.
May we uphold the greater good.
May we be filled with empathy.
May we work to improve the lives of others.
May we discover our Spiritual Purpose.
May we bring It to fruition.
May we think universally
As well as act locally.
May we be our brother’s keeper with passion
As if it were for us alone.
May we hunger for spiritual truth
And dedicate our lives to becoming.
May we become more
Than human minds can comprehend.
May we leave this earth richer
For having participated in its learning.
May the curriculum of our soul
Bring us to peace.
May Peace abide in all.
May Peace abide in you.
May Peace abide in me.
And may it ever be so.
