As a leading expert in education, creative process, and patient advocacy, Dr. Shipe is poised to inspire audiences worldwide with her thought-provoking messages.
Dr. Sue Kidd Shipe is a leader in a new field of education sometimes known as “Higher” Education. A practitioner for 35 plus years, Dr. Shipe uses and teaches her own system of accessing information from higher unseen sources. At first a skeptic, Dr. Shipe’s ability to access higher realms first revealed itself to her as she began to expand upon her education and experience in traditional education:
Education:
Private study at Glenville State University, WV
Bachelor of Music In Piano from West Virginia University, WV
Master of Master of Science in Music Education at Long Island University, NY
Certificate of Advanced Studies in Supervision and Administration at SUNY, New Paltz, NY
Doctorate of Education from Kennedy-Western University, CA
Her background in the arts, as well as using the arts in her own healing, have made her best known for her advocacy for Fibromyalgia patients, bringing her leadership skills to patients, caregivers, nurses, and physicians. Combining both personal experience as well as academic standards to bear upon the discrimination Fibromyalgia patients experience has earned her respect from medical and legislative communities as well as patients, and other patient advocates. She recently received an award for her leadership in New York State by the non-profit organization, Veteran Voices for Fibromyalgia.
Her creative process is probably her most important attribute, and one she shares through her extensive background in the arts as well as in practical applications. Her most recent contribution is a roadmap for navigating challenging times through accessing guidance, enhancing intuition, and expanding upon our current senses of hearing, seeing, feeling, sensing, and knowing, through developing our higher senses.
Dr. Shipe’s career has brought her before audiences of teachers, parents, students, patients, physicians, therapists, government officials, and enthusiasts of realms that extend beyond most current thinking. Her other awards and experiences include:
