Donated $1000 toward World Trade Center and Afghani refugees.

Donated $2000 to individuals in need.

Loaned $1500 to individuals in need.

Donated $1000 to Lions Clubs International for addressing vision and hearing impairments

Sent press releases internationally, nationally, and locally.

Sent book and letter requesting assistance promoting International Unity Day to television personalities; State, National and International Leaders; and other celebrities.

Piloted United We Stand in Social Studies curriculum on Long Island.

Placed book United We Stand in independent bookstores in Maine and New York, and also in the local-author section of Borders Bookstore in Albany, N.Y.

Preparing for book signings in Maine, West Virginia, and New York for 2002.

Participated in the Ageing Assembly of the United Nations.

Celebrated the International Peace Meditation monthly.

Celebrated International Unity Day on Jan. 1, 2001.

Changed International Unity Day annually to September 11, beginning in 2002.

Reached over 20 countries through their visits to the Institute web site.

Received an average of 17 visits per day, and over 3000 hits per month on Institute web site.

Sent inspirational letter monthly to all members of the Institute.

Provided leadership through expanded web site with press release, open letter, and article on leadership regarding Sept. 11 attack.

Promote diversity with book, audio tape, cards, and flyer, continuously.

Participated in the Black and Puerto Rican annual conference.

Participated on the Capital District Association for Women in Administration panel and steering committee.

Received registration for trademark on picture of hands.

Attended ceremony honoring Sen. Robert C. Byrd, at State Capitol in West Virginia as guest of the Governor of West Virginia.

Marketing book to 7500 public, high school, and college libraries and bookstores through R. R. Bowker

Recently applied for tax exempt status.
