The International Institute For Human Empowerment collaborates with organizations
with similar missions. Membership in the Institute is by philosophy alone. There are no
dues. The Institute works with Lions Clubs at the local, district, state, and international
levels; as well as hospitals, traditional and complementary healthcare providers, business,
patient advocates, government, and human rights organizations.
As a member of Lions for approximately 20 years, Sue Kidd Shipe is proud of her Club
and of the Lions Eye Institute in Albany, NY. She is a progressive Melvin Jones, which
means contributing essential support for their international mission including blindness
prevention and treatment, and disaster relief.
